No single player, or offline fun but, The Online is about the best that i have ever seen in a shooter.
Is a fantastic online multiplayer shooter. you can take your enemy on by Air, Land Vehicles, Sea, and on foot. The install is smooth sailing very easy and no problems, download some patches manually and your ready to go. for multiplayer getting to the actual gameplay is very easy, and you actually get to choose what server and settings you want to play on. there are a whole bunch of fun maps to choose from, from infantry only maps to maps that depend on air and naval power. This is a team based game so you can join squads for the definite advantage if you want to, but your also free to go lone wolf also, with the teamwork aspect of the game there is a little bit of a learning curve that you need to get used to that is not found in games like call of duty.
In the original game there are 3 teams to play on, USA, China, and the Middle Eastern Coalition (MEC) and with patch 1.50 you get two booster packs free that enable you to play as the European Union team as well. each team is equally. One of my favorite things in all battlefield games are the class kits, so everyone feels like they are filling out and important part in they're team. you can choose from
every kit has a hand gun, some sort of grenade, and a one hit kill knife.
Assault- who come in guns o' blazin with grenade launchers and heavy armor and lethal rifles.
Support- with a huge machine guns, heavy armor and ammo refills your team will never run out of bullets.
Anti-tanks- packed with rocket launchers and a sub machine gun are a must for the levels with land vehicles and tanks doing those drive-by's on your infantry.
Spec Ops- come with nice accurate guns, light armor but higher run speed, use these guys to plant C4 on enemy bases and vehicles for a nice suprise explosion.
Snipers- come with huge accurate guns that blow peoples heads off, come with claymores to blow the feet off of infantry.
Engineers- equipped with a shotgun and anti vehicle mines they kill infantry and vehicles in one hit. and on a safer side can fix your team vehicles also.
Medics- A must to have in infantry matches, light armor, light gun, but the most important part to them are they're health packs to keep your army alive!
you can also reach new awards and ranks while playing online and that enables you to unlock new guns and gear to have a fresh taste while shooting your enemy in the face.
They're are also tons of vehicles, ships/boats, and planes/helicopters to choose from, so it will never feel like a dull moment, more like a game filled with suprises and opportunities.

-Great online game
-squads and kits are amazingly fun
-time did it's thing a bit to the graphics but they're still good.
-a whole lot of choices to be made in the field.
-team-work is almost a must.
-fill out your roles soldier!
