There is a good game in there I feel just for now the game is a glitchy laggy unbalanced unplayable mess with so many missing features that are essential to gameplay... I get the feeling that with some rather basic fixes and additions this will be a good game which I would probably give an 8/10, but it is so far from that point.
I've not played battlefield online before and was excited to try it, I rather foolishly assumed that paying for a online FPS would be a premium next-gen experience compared to free online shooters but it really isnt.
I feel vehicles are excessively overpowered and numerous, I think is a major issue as if you are not in a vehicle you are cannon fodder for a vehicle with no real counter, I think the health of vehicles really needs brought down a lot, and take away the repair function.
The specialist are a nice idea but I think they are rather unnecessary. I really feel they missed a trick here, they have a specialist for wing suit and a specialist for grappling hook and like six other specialists for various gadgets. I think they could have hit something really nice if they got rid of the specialists and instead gave everyone a grappling hook and a wingsuit and made everything else a pick the gadget sort of deal. The maps are somewhat huge and trying to traverse them without a vehicle breaks the gameplay flow quite badly. giving players more mobility really would have helped address that I think.
There is not much more to say really, for now I think I covered it in the title it is an glitchy laggy unbalanced unplayable mess with missing features. I'd say it is at least 1-2 years away from being in a good state but I hope they can do something sooner than that.
