One of the best FPS's out there. Multiplayer superb. Huge epic battles that look and feel real. Very Challenging!

One of the best shooters you could play with huge battles where explosions and falling buildings and dust flying create one of the most authentic looking shooters on the market. It is very satisfying to shoot a Abrams at a building regardless if there is an enemy in it or not. The Frostbite 2 engine creates the most realistic war environment you could find that leads to some gorgeous fighting. The sound is beautiful and sounds authentic to the weapon systems as anyone who has been deployed in the last decade can confirm.
Even with all that is great with this game there is one major drawback. It is not a game you can casually pick up and compete on any level in multiplayer. The skills of the online community have progressed too far. With the frostbite engine you can't even be reasonably sure that you could be great at FPS's in General and still be any good at BF3.
Even with the steep skill curve and the fact the first fifty matches online you'll feel like a scrub I would still say play this if not buy it if you're a FPS fan.
