Incredible immersive gameplay, the sound is just simply astounding, best I've heard and the Frosbite engine delivers!
When I play a game, I look to feel immersed into the game, the sound, the visuals and want it take me there as if I was there. Too many people judge a game at face value based on the play, the bugs, the controls etc. Instead of truly appreciating all the details the developers put into the game.
I'm not a multiplayer player, so I'm not reviewing that side of things. I've spent about 6hrs playing BF3 and from the start I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Clearly the sound is the best ever for a game, listening to it full digital surround puts you right into the space. When a bullet hits the bricks right by you and crumble you feel, it or when a bullet hits a paper thin wall, you clearly hear the difference. I love how you just can't hide behind walls anymore without them getting blown up. The voice work is impressive as well and the story is interesting to see it unravel.
The graphic visuals I found to be above par, but the realism of debris, wind, smoke, fire, haze and all the things above the graphics of character mapping are incredible. The level design is so incredible, you'll find yourself in small places, dark and wet spot and the terrain, sprinklers in parking garages going off.
The AI characters I have to admit have some bugs, I have seen them walk through ladders or just straight line walk to destination point. That doesn't bother me, the developers have delivered everything else at 99%, so I don't expect it 100% bug free. The haters rating it low because of this are just retarded.
Overall, this game rates to the top of my list. Worth every penny!
