Singleplayer: 8.0, Multiplayer: 9.5 - Overall: Awesome shooter with a short campaign and the best multiplayer out there.

User Rating: 8.5 | Battlefield 3 PC
Well this game has been so hyped, by old (BF 1942) and new fans alike... But it was all for a reason.

I remember being a teenager and playing BF 1942 in internet cafes with my friends, and it was an unforgettable experience.
So i knew that EA DICE had something great to build upon...

So plain and simple, let's see how this game fairs:

Graphics: 10/10
No question here. Since the videos of gameplay in E3, we all knew what to expect. And we expected THE BEST. And that is EXACTLY what we got!!!
Even in a low-end pc, you can play this game in medium settings, and still get a treat! This is really great, considering how many modern games deliver nothing but glitches and bugs to a gamer with a weak rig. Some bugs are present, but nothing to worry about... Great job here!

I'd say, real-life does a pretty good job trying to copy this game on graphics...

Sound: 9.0/10
Well, everything is excellent here. I experienced some minor glitches in a couple of moments in the singleplayer, but other than that EVERYTHING is spot on! From the gunfire and explosions, to the voice-acting and the vehicle sounds. And then there is the epic soundtrack that kicks in in some key moments in the game, making the hair on your back stand up!!!

Multiplayer: 9.5/10
A variety of multiplayer modes + beautiful maps + tanks + jets + 32vs32 support... Fun, fun and more fun... This is, no question, hands down, the BEST military fps multiplayer to date!!! Again the great graphics add to this experience, so that you sometimes find yourself just staring at the landscape...
Oh, and EA should have made this available on Steam (not an issue though).
The co-op is great too adding some more missions that tie to the singleplayer, with fun to be had there too.

Singleplayer: 8.0/10
Well, that's where we find some dissappointment. It's been said that the campaing is pretty forgettable, but that's not the problem.
There are a lot of WOW moments in there, like being in an aerial dogfight, skydiving and many more. And the story is not weak, it's pretty good, but nothing we haven't seen before.
The issue is with the longevity of the campaign!!!
I remember the developers announcing a 12-hour-long campaign earlier this year... What happened??? It's only 6 hours long!!! (Singleplayer Campaign length: 7/10) Why?
Well, nevermind, BF has always been a Multiplayer game anyway, and that's where many hours will be spent...

Final Verdict: 8.5/10

It's a must, for fps and multiplayer lovers, and a great leap forward for the fps franchise. With so many great games coming out this season, you'll need one to just kick back and have fun in multiplayer!
And the COD franchise can learn a thing or too from the (so far) best shooter of the year...
