Yawn. Another FPS that is just a rehash of what has been done by DICE and others. Fanboys, cover your anuses.
But now, almost every single FPS that's coming out these days (Including the Call of Duty games, just to cull both sides of the fanboy mentality and to show that I am not one) just recycle the same aspects introduced in previous FPS games and resell them to the gaming community. But it seems DICE has followed suit to Treyarch and Infinity Ward, sticking to what they know what works rather than venturing off to create something unique and releasing a game so similar that I would rather call it a 'map-pack' and 'GUI and environment reskin' patch of Battlefield 2 with a half-ass leveling system thrown in.
Then Battlefield 3 goes through Origin and a Godawful browser based user control panel. I don't need to explain that further.
All this being said, I have no intention of recommending Battlefield 3 to anyone, maybe if it was released 4 years ago when the idea this game was based around was still somewhat fresh.
