This really isn't a bad game, but I find it to be the most overrated game of the year

User Rating: 7.5 | Battlefield 3 (Limited Edition) X360
This game has a campaign mode that is not really impressive. The meat is in the online mode. It also does very little to improve or innovate over BF2 and even removes some of that games great features such as a completely destructible invironment.

This game is raved for it's great graphics. Frame by frame may look pretty decent but really aren't that impressive. The frame rate is low and if you're like me, the constant screen tearing is very annoying.

Starting multiplayer, you have very little weapons and equipment. You may actually play for a long time before you have any weapons or equipment you actually like. Also, once you unlock a lot of the equipment, you may find even though it took a long time to get it, it wasn't worth the wait.

There are vehicles in the game spanning from basic transport vehicles to boats to fighter jets, although without a copilot, most of them are nothing more than a deathtrap against a decent team. You may, however, have plenty of fun playing with a communicating friend. As a matter of fact, trying to go solo in this game is a terrible idea.

The maps on this game are huge and, sadly, it's a bad thing. There just aren't enough players in the games to keep things action packed the majority of the time. Like every other shooter on the market, there are campers too. Sadly battlefield does nothing in the way of a pinpoint or radar to address this like every other modern shooter.

Lastly, I will say if you thought that you were going to be able to play team deathmatch, think again. Only on busy days such as Friday and Saturday are there even people playing team deathmatch. Those lobbies are usually empty during the week.
