DICE has produced an absolute masterpiece in Battlefield 3's multiplayer but the same cant be said for the campaign.

HUGE maps,Destruction,loads of weapons,vehicles,teamwork and fun game modes..that one line describes what the BF3 multiplayer is like.DICE has once again created a muliplayer unit that no other game can match.The maps, staying true to the battlefield formula are HUGE and playing some of the trademark game modes like "rush" and "conquest" on these maps has never been better,the huge variety of vehicles on each of these maps adds lots variety to the online gameplay,the destruction in the game means that there is no place to hide,buildings crumble and grenades blast open walls,the guns shred through the cover and whichever game you play in the carnage will always be at the MAX.realistic features such as bullet drop,larger recoil and less health make the action even more intense.

The sound design in BF3 is beyond amazing,the sound of a grenade explosion or the bullets flying past your solider are all awesome,the voice acting in the game is solid and well done .

The frostbite 2 shines as one of the best features in Battlefield 3,making the graphics as some of the best out there,the sun shining on your face while shooting, the player models,the overall look of the maps, the destruction of the environment all look amazing,the consoles may not match the PC in terms of graphics but the consoles version graphics are still really good.

Now the campaign,this is where Battlefield gets it wrong,DICE arent know for making good single-player campaigns and they have kept their reputation intact with the BF3 campaign,a Clichéd story,full of annoying or rather unnecessary quick time events, drags Battlefield down,the graphics during the campaign are amazing and so is the sound and the gunplay is also very intense but the awful story makes the SP an underwhelming experience,the story is too linear and throws you down a single route,in simple words it is too restrictive and try's to mimic it's rivals campaign rather than trying to be different from it.

Other than the SP,the game has one of the best MP's around and is a must have for a battlefield fan,the campaign might be underwhelming but thats not the reason you get a battlefield game,it's beautifully made and has intense action both during it's SP and MP.
