Frostbite 2 Engine, Superb Sound, feels real, sets a new bar for FPS.
Ok, before you all start moaning saying the Campaign mission is poor, linear and not that good, why? Its becuase you have all been spoilt with trailers of the first level, tank runs etc.
Now step back, just look at the graphics and the sound in the game, now compare it to MW2, MW3, BlackOpps (on PS3) and tell me that it is not vastly superior. Tell me that it doesn't make you go "wow" when you take off in the Fighter Jet, or travel in the back of the russian car in the metro level, or ride the jeep in the jungle.
Yes some of the "press A" is a bit poor but the overall Campaign to me is very good, the story line and the Actors are easy to follow, (unlike Soaps many deaths).
Ok I haven't finished the Campaign yet I have two levels to go, but yes I will pick it up again and finish, which is not always the case with me. ( Find MW3 campaign the same old stuff as COD4).
As for the multiplayer well I have played just 2 maps as I wanted to play the campaign first, but form my breif encounter I don't think it will disapoint me. (BF2 didn't).
Now to all the MW2,MW3 etc fanboys. Yes I have MW2,MW3 and yes I play online and yes I'm not that great but I enjoy the games anyway, be it private matches with mates (8+ online - MW2) and the game has its place, but for war like batlegrounds its BF2 and BF3 I'm afraid. MW2,MW3 is like FiFa and will be brought out every year with a new perk and Maps.
But beaware, COD games MUST update the graphics next time without destroying the fast framerate and to just compete with BF3's graphics alone.
If not then the balance of power will move.
For me it already has.

Hi All, Well the single player is done and I am now ranked 8 on the Multiplayer.
WOW .. The minute you step into the multiplayer game you will be blown away by the graphics, its simply amazing, will I ever pick up MW3 again? Well yes when I get an invite from my online friends asking for a quick private match like on MW2 but for the intense battle ground feel and total feel of realism then nothing compares to BF3. No game is maybe worth a 10 but this is close.
My only gripe is my knowledge of starting a game with mates on the same sqaud etc. In all COD games its been easy with a clear menu and list system. In BF3 my mate seems that he is in my party but when starting the game hes on the other side. Perhaps this just needs perfecting.
As for the expansion pack that came with the Limited Ed version, well its the worth the 2gb update.
If you love FPS and you don't have this, then why not?
Raising the bar on standards, what the Hell will BF4 be like!
