Stripped version of PC and new consoles. It's OK. *ONLINE ONLY REVIEW*

User Rating: 6 | Battlefield 4 X360

After logging several hours of online play this is what I think.

Right away if you've been watching gameplay of PC or new gen console footage you'll know right away this system is really starting to show its age.

Graphically it looks blurry, ugly and has occasional hiccups/glitches. The new features such as blowing up dams, certain buildings and other objects looks decent but the animations of crumbling structures looks almost unfinished. Dynamic weather looks cool and all but doesn't really affect gameplay as much as it's advertised. Menu system is messed up text writes overtop of other text so it's hard to tell which option or mode to choose. No STATS unless you log into Battlelog online such as K/D ratio, kills/deaths, total playtime etc all gone.

The MOST disappointing part is the lack of 64 player maps. Now with commander mode it feels are if you always targeted by the opposing teams commander very frequently getting hit with air guided missiles since there is less players/targets to choose from. Esp if you like Deathmatch modes. Some maps are way too large and spawn points are spread too far apart.

Another dumb idea was to change the controller button layout. After playing all BF titles for 360 I now have to learn new layouts and its frustrating at times. Oh well not a big deal I guess just annoying.

Compared to BF3? IT feels exactly the same with new maps, guns and vehicles. To be honest the only reason why I bought this title was to play it, learn the maps/guns, trade it in for $10, and get the XBone copy on release date.

At the end of the day it's still a fun game online esp with friends. If your new to the series def worth picking up. If your a veteran like me might wanna pass on this 360/PS3 version.
