This is a glitchy and buggy mess, but it is fun when it all works and it does get boring quick.

Battlefield 4

Visuals:

The visuals for Battlefield 4 is visually stunning on the 360, but it is really showing it's age like the visuals are suppose to be the new Frostbite 3 engine and it's suppose to be new but it just seems like I or you the player was looking Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine and in the campaign the visuals are very stunning but the on-line visuals just seemed to be and look like you were just playing Battlefield 3 and not Battlefield 4. In Battlefield 4 their are a lot of frame rate issues in the campaign and in the on-line mainly in the Team Death-match mode where I and you will experience a lot of lag issues and frame rate problem, when playing Conquest or Rush and the new mode Obliteration it is very smooth with some hiccups but still the visuals are still very easy on the eye especially in HD no matter what in 720 or 1080 it does still look great but the age is really starting to show on the 360. So in short on the visuals for this game are very great to look at and very easy on the eyes, but a lot of issues, even after about 3 or 4 updates and with that said the visuals are just plain great.

Audio:

The audio for Battlefield 4 is and as always is amazing it is one of the reasons I always do pick this game up on every release whether it's the Battlefield series or the expansion to the series Bad Company which is my favorite in the series. So the game musical score is just amazing and really helps set the tone throughout the campaign and at time's even help with the parts that felt intense and had me sometimes at the edge of my seat. The sounds effects of all the weapons and vehicles in the campaign and in the on-line I don't have to get into that much detail of the Dolby surround sound effects we as players know how D.I.C.E is with their top notch sound effects for their games. The voice acting is great as well and the voice of one character Irish sounded like the ex-rapper turned actor RZA not sure, but it sounded like him overall the voice work is sensational as always and one quick point that the main character as no voice and like the good old days of FPS's. So in short for the audio in this game is spectacular as always as it has been for years in this series.

Gameplay:

Single-player:

In the campaign for Battlefield 4 you play as Sgt. Wrecker as you play through the this pretty stellar campaign and personally I am one of the few that really liked that campaign in Battlefield 3 and in fact I preferred Battlefields campaigns to the Call of Duty's campaign which has not been great since COD 4: MW I'm probably one of the few that likes the campaign in Battlefield 4 in this games campaign you go through some beautiful stunning locals and some that are not so much and these locals are from mid-east Asia, China, Russia and back to China. The game give's you some collectibles to look for throughout the campaign and a point base system throughout each mission of the game and speaking of the missions in this game you will have some epic missions and some that are not so much and this pretty great improved campaign will last you about 5-6 hours on normal or hard and their is some replay values with those point base missions but not much. The campaign is just littered with bug and glitch's and if you are like me you probably experienced that really bad bug and glitch where the game will lose you progress in the game even if it is saved to your Hard drive or not it is a really bad glitch and bug for this game, so if you play through the campaign just finish your play through in one sitting. So despite the bugs and glitch's the campaign is great and fun to play it is a enjoyment while it lasts and maybe liked by some and hated by others.

On-line:

The on-line for Battlefield 4 is well it's battlefield with the same two bread and butter modes for the franchise in Rush and Conquest with last games added mode's in Team Death-Match, Squad Death-Match and the have added Domination a mode well if you have played a Call of Duty game in the last decade or so this mode needs no introduction or explanation of how it plays as it plays the exactly the same way in any capture the flag game mode plays lately in games where you have to take control of sectors to Dominate the match and their are a couple of new modes in Obliteration where two teams battle for control of a single bomb to destroy the one another's bases and the other new mode is Defuse and this mode as two teams battle it out in a search and destroy type of game mode with no re-spawns for either team and no vehicles with very quick rounds. This game on-line as issues a lot of issues with lag texture pop-ups and frame rate drops from time to time and freezing issues and many more problems you will experience with the on-line, but when it works it is fun to play when every is going good with the game and with the team work and when it is not going good it is an absolute nightmare with every thing from the lack of team work and the technical issues. So in short for the on-line for this is it is fun when it is working and intense, but when it is not good luck on keeping your hair on your head it is just a disaster.

Overall:

The overall point for Battle field 4 is this, Battlefield 4 is a fun and great game when it works right be cause of all the issues and bugs the greatness and fun is torn away headaches and such with a lot more that should have been but was not to be. I would like to had in one mission in the game you run into which I believe the main antagonist of Battlefield 3. So the visuals are stunning but showing the 360's age and the Frostbite 3 engine does not seem to be to impressive at all, the audio is just spectacular as it always is and the game-play is just a it and miss with all the bug and glitch's this game suffers on-line and off-line with losing you progress in the campaign if the game freezes on you when on-line. So even though a bit broken when the game does not function right, but when it does it is just fun, frantic and great to play, so basically pick this game up in a few months or so.
