bad company 2 is a solid game, really great presentation but a few things i notice in single player keep it from great!

okay to summerise and save you all time (unless you really want my opinions) first level can go get lost in the woods somewhere its quite poor. basically its level 4 from battlefield 2 (console edition). on two separate occasions thus far (because I'm not done) you fight the MOST overused "mini boss" ever aka the tank all your buddies are running from. on the positive side though its alot of fun the AI works (mostly) like it should, the ability to hoard weapons like a gun runner is awesome! and the versatile level of play involved is great. the comedy is still rich from the first game if a bit less often. and the multiplayer (if still a bit buggy) is solid enough for me to consider it better than arma II or cod4.
graphics: game looks amazing the level of destruction rivals red faction: guerrilla and the weapons and vehicles all look amazing

gameplay: its good but the melee combat mechanic is poorly done i highly recommend changing the hotkey for it. guns i find reload a little slow and you move a little slower than id like to see in a game of this caliber but most people will dust it aside as a minor issue. mouse sensitivity is also set a little low for my tastes by default but i digress.
story is up there with a lot of astounding title its epic and takes you everywhere you can think of and then some. again gathering guns is an amazing feature almost made me wet myself with how well it works.
audio is FLAWLESS. in fact i cant think of anything bad here just a few issues with audio clipping when you end up in an awkward spot (crouched under a bridge tucked away in a corner behind a box is a good example).

overall this game is very well done but its not perfect.. give it time it will kick it like nothing on this earth!
