Everything looks & sounds great, it's can be fun, but...

Jumping on the bandwagon of the hype machine that is Bad Company 2 would be the easiest thing to do, however, I think not. I've immersed myself in enough multi-player gameplay of this game to get the just of it's details and abilities. It looks stunning, the sound effects are great and creates the chaos that i might find in war. However, it does still suffer from the ill-effects of online plays sometime odd characteristics that to this day, have yet to be solved and have plagued online play since it's inception. It's close, but still causes frustration amongst the casual gamer...I speak of "latency" and the "what I see" to "what you see" ratio.

Every time EA now puts out a game...I now expect it to ruin the online play, and it's become commonplace..despite the subtraction of $60 out of my wallet. Not to mention the fact that the bending bullets that are able to kill me around a corner (or is that poor physics in a game that allow bullets to penetrate two 4"-6" walls corner edge with a half a clip of standard automatic rounds of ammunition.

It's almost there, where it's believable and engrossing....but not yet.
