Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2, the battle has just begun!
Now Bad Company 2, i never played the first one, but i have heard good things like the destructive engine was fun and the story was full of humour but never took it away from the seriousness of blowing things up.
So i have waited for its sequel and have to say not only has the battle begun, but its pretty much over in my opinion. Eveything about the game is so epic, the sound is so real, like walking into a empty building hearing your chracters chat echo around you, and explosions actually sounding like your close to one, when your ears go numb as they would in real life.The graphics are smooth as you like and very detailed, if you like far cry 2 look, youll love this as this is like a massive upgrade.
Gameplay is beyond anything i ever played, the controls are really tight, fairly similar to mw2 which is a definite positive in mw2, and the destructive engine is absoloutly fantastic, youll have so much fun blowing down buildings and killing someone through there cover with a rocket launcher, more satisfying then anything i have experienced in mw2.
Now multiplayer the games replay value definitely lies here, it makes you feel like your on a battlefield, always seeing buildings getting blown up and explosions surrounding you, the use of any and vehicle and helicopter adds to the exicting all combining to make every game feel unique. So the question many people want to know is it better then MW2 mp?? In my opinion yes and quite a few reviews also agree, if your fed up with the Camping of mw2 and the repetitive matches and annoying killstreaks which are usually gained by camping unless your real good haha but yes Bad company 2 is the game for you.
and remember in this game campers can never hide :)
As we all know, no game is perfect and they always slight draw backs, here are some i have found keeping me from giving it a 10/10. If your do not have xbox live i would consider thinking about paying the full wack as the campaign lasted about 6 hours, and with no real extras apart from mp, you may find there is not much replay value.
Also in the mp you can spawn with your teammates at any moment i have experienced this from positive and negative gameplay. for example someone respawned with a enemy just before i killed him and he had me lol.
There is also a few techincal issuess but this is usually every game.
This game is epic and exciting, youll keep coming back for more, as blowing up things are just too fun :)
