Dice streaks hard with A funny single player and Completely addicting and Amazing Mulitplayer.
Lets start of with the single player WARNING CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS if you dont wont to get spoiled you can skeap and read my mulitplayer review. The single player has you starting off playing as a team of U.S. commandos on a secret mission on a island outside of Japan this mission brings back great memmories of the classic Battlefield 1943 weapons such as the M1 grand and type 88. After you retitrive your missions goal the "package" you find your self in the presesence of a massive explosion, killing both you yor team and your package. Then it takes you back to the present time and you begin to play as Squad Bravo 2. The gang is back and funnier then ever with reveling and entertaing cutsences and dialog. You soon find yourself on a secret mission trying to retrive a weapon from the russians. You find yourself all over south america from the snowy moutains to the barren desserts. You go up against Spetnez and South american Gorillas. There are several things that are exclusive to the BC2 story there are M-COM stations(the same as in the muiltiplayer game mode rush) that you can destroy as a side object and collectible guns you can find on every mission, also the guns you start with are the ones you ended with in the previous mission, but there are always supply drops were you can switch out your weapons. I wont tell the ending if Bravo 2 saves the U.S. or dies trying, you have to find out for yourself.
Mulitplayer is by far the best part of this game. But i havent been able to really play much of it due to the EA connection issues but i played at least 5 hours of it(the issues should be fixed soon) and it is at its finest and wont get boring or outdated anytime soon. There arent the average gamemodes you see in online games. There is The conquest mode where you have to cature and hold 3 flags on he map and there is the new mode rush.Rush is where players must defened 2 spots on the map Alpha site and Bravo site once the enemy has taken the two points you fall back to 2 new sites once the last site is captured you lose, but defenders can when but killing tha attackers over and over untill they run out of spawn tickets. The other big mode is squad deathmacth where you are split into a 4 man team where you fight 5 other 4 man teams. The basics are this there is a top 32 player limit. You are split in four man squads and you can only talk with your squad but of course you can change squds or teams. There 4 classes to play with ,The engineer, assault, recon and medic. Enginer is the soldier that is more of a heavy ummm weapons speacilist he uses the SMG and the rpg with the mines.Always choose this character to go up against vehicles. Assault is your average day soldier a man he has a assault rifle and greanade launcher, he is the soldier vs. soldier type of guy.The medic when you start off with the character is the LMG user when you progress with him you unlock padels. You can use that to revive your dead teamates. Finally the Recon Class is the average Sniper, with c4 and recon abilites. The ranking system in BC2 is quite different then other games. In other games like COD you rank up you unlock all guns and equipment of all types. But in Battlefield you most use your class to unlock stuff, that you can only use in the class that you unlocked it in.For example You use the assault class and you unlock a better assault rifle you can only use that rifle in your assault class. There are things you unlock besides guns like mines, rockets and even motion sensors! One of the best new features to the game is the new destruction engine! About anything in the game can be demolished. From trees to bringing down whole bulidings it adds a new feel to the fps shooter so campers can say good bye!
So BC2 is a higly funny and addictive game and plays best on computers with good graphics. It also requires a EA account to play online.Sometimes it can get out balanced such as every one on the other team sniping can get quite annoying but it is still a blast! If you are a gamer you need BC2 on your shelf!
9.5 ALL THE WAY!
