The one thing the reviews dont mention - THE BUGS!
The missions are generic, and unexciting, but of course Battlefield is all about online.
With soul-destroying gameplay, Bad Company lets the side down BIG TIME. Reviews NEVER mention the bugs - some of which are plain silly - like Bullet proof leaves, the rocket proof armour and of course getting stuck.
In BC2, players can unlock new weapons, which can mean unlocking even worse weapons than you had before. The online maps are poorly designed with some being total 'rape', should you be on a team full of recon.
Despite claiming to be a PC game, BC2 feels like a shoddy console port and if BF3 is anything like this, then I am done with the series.
Recently, reviewers hand out 9's like candy because clearly advertising and money pays for that little extra couple of points, as is the case here.
AVOID!
It's such a shame that after BF2142, DICE would release such a poor game and despite some attempts to fix the game with patches, other bugs still stand out - like the knife bug and making the G3 extremely powerful now.
