The game is slow paced and demands skill but no matter one if not the best shooter to date.

Now if this game was a campaign only game it would probably get a lower score. the campaign sadly is not very immersive in anyway at all and the story feels a bit clustered,though it has its moments often enough since the set peice changes dramatically and the humor is pretty funny at most times. also blowing sh** up is cool too. dude behind a narrow wall no problem! noobtube should bring him and the wall down. so i guess ^^ it is in someways sorry about that. BUT the multiplayer is where its at. 24 people go head to head in team based modes with huge gorgeous maps and all the destruction you could do in the campaign is here. be warned though. this is NOT call of duty. runnning and gunning will get you killed fast same with going rogue. stuck with your squad at most times and communicate as much as possible. This will help you stay alive. for instance sticking near a medic will probably make you die less an assault will probably keep you on a steady supply of ammo and an engineer is always helpful near or close to a tank or to even take out a tank for you. Yes tanks,ats,choopers and even Uav's are at your desposile to drive. Problems ? well the helicopter has poor handling and the engineer class feels pretty under powered but overall BFBC2 is a great game and anyone who is a fan of the FPS genre should pick it up including cod players just follow my tips and you should do just fine ^^ (emphasis on FINE not good not great FINE)
