BF: BC is the latest of the epic serie from EA. It is also the first Xbox 360 Battlefield game to "hit the spot". The offline story mode is interesting and fun but the online multiplayer goes a long way, as you would expect from a Battlefield game.

Offline:
Your Private Preston Marlowe and you have just been sent to B company (known as Bad Company). The game starts off there. You drop out of a chopper and meet your new squad. A small training level helps you move around and use the controls, but you'll need more time to fully enjoy them. Your in a war against Russians but you won't hear about that for long because one of your squad mates, Haggard (a trigger happy fool), will get a nasty need of gold. (Yes, I did say gold). From there on, the story is yours to discover, I don't want to ruined the experience but let me tell you Haggard isin'd done causing B company trouble.

Online:
The online component of the game is probably one of the xbox 360's best as of today. Gold Rush was the only multiplayer mode included in the initial release of Battlefield: Bad Company. The setup of the game is an Attackers vs. Defenders scenario. You probably want more than one game type, and thats why DICE made a free DLC on the xbox live marketplace. The Conquest game mode returned to Bad Company due to overwhelming requests from players during the beta testing. Conquest was the prevalent game-mode in many of the preceding Battlefield games, and involves reducing the opponents' "ticket" meter by scoring kills and capturing strategically placed flags.

Upcoming games:
Two other Battlefield games are upcoming for the xbox 360
- Battlefield 1943: A download only remake of Battlefield 1942. Coming out on the xbox 360 some time in July. 1200 MS points.
- Battlefield: Bad company 2: Sequel to Bad Company, not much is known about the game yet.

Overall:
Bad Company is the first Battlefield I enjoy on the xbox 360. The game gives you a lot of ways to complete every mission and multiplayer tasks because the Frostbite game engine allows 92% of the environment to be destroyed, including wall buildings (not floor & structure), vegetation (including trees, grass, and bushes), vehicles, other players and the ground itself (crater 1 level only where infantry can prone). For gameplay purposes, the frames of some buildings and objects remain indestructible to prevent total destruction of key points and to prevent the map from being completely flat. Additionally, the game features dynamic lighting to correlate with the changing environment. Bad Company is as good looking as a a lot of games these days and it's a year old, giving you good chances of finding it in a "bid" at haft price.

It's a splendid, even sumptuous game. It offers hours of online action and it's old enough to be found at a good price.
Hope you liked my latest review. If you have any feedback, PM me ;).
