Almost criminal that is.... What a sequel to the best Action Strategy game every made, stunning graphics for its day, creative storyline with two paths you can take, weapons, ships, and some excellent modding tools. Look at the community that sprung up around this game and that will attest how good it was. It did try to make it easier in the first 7 missions to bring the uninitiated into the game, easing them into the combat style and command style. The "reviewers" here and across the gaming websites did a true injustice giving this game low scores. Battlecruiser Millenium came out a year or 2 later and got a 6, a SIX, and this got a 6.6?? BCM and the rest of Smarts games suck! How can you give Battlezone 2 a 6.6???? That is my only beef. :-P
