Bayonetta was not one of my anticipated titles, and i wasnt even gonna buy it till i heard all the hype and stellar reviews. So i got it and for the most part it is good but only that, for me their is just too much going on, and the story is overly complicated. Not that the story matters, its just a bash em shoot em get naked em up. I found myself getting quite severe hand cramps after only half an hour of play, mainly because the 360's controlller for me is a little too bulky for this type of game, but got that version because it is the best version graphically. Talking of Graphics though this really is quite amazing in that department, enormous building sized monsters make regular appearences in the game and move about with no glitching at all. Frame rates hold up most of the time too. There is a Gallery shooting game in between levels to break up the monotony, yes i said monotony. This game is best in short bursts because its just kill monsters get to next stage kill more monsters and gets quite boring in too long a stint. Overall its impressive but certainly not worth the 10 out tens its been getting.
8/10
