Bayonetta, the first true contender to God of War, is a highly addictive game that is definitively worth a purchase.
Bayonetta will have guns, swords, and more to combat her enemies. Aside from this, you'll be able to purchase a handful of techniques to allow you to increase your combos and eliminate enemies faster.
One of the new things Bayonetta brings to the genre is Witch Time. If you successfully dodge an enemy attack right before it hits you, you'll be granted a few seconds of slow motion, which will give you an edge at battle.
The game has 16 chapters which will be more than enough to keep you entertained for a while, and if you like collecting achievements, then this game will provide you with the challenge of getting Platinum medals on all battles.
Now its time to list its flaws, as this is no perfect game. The most frustrating problem I found in the game is the camera. The camera movement doesn't feel right and it costed me valuable moments to adjust it properly. I had this issue even when tweaking the camera speed. Luckily, you can easily overcome this issue as it isn't as bothersome as in games like NG2.
The other problem was voice acting. Its not totally bad, but some of the voices just don't sound genuine.
So despite this shortcomings, the game is a great investment for your money and is definitively worth a purchase.
