There isn't a lot to say about Beatdown Fists of Vengeance. It's a standard fighting game with a rather uninspired story. The initial idea of the game that you could read about in developer interviews and that made me go to the videostore and rent it, was to create a beat'em up game with soulcaliber-like bossfights and a bit of stealthy gameplay. Unfortunalty the beat'em up part is extremly annoying and repetitive, while the stealth part mainly focusses on buying new clothes that will disguise the player for a short amount of time like a few minutes or sometimes only seconds. At that point you will have to face the repetitive beat'em up part again. One thing took me by surprise though: Beatdown really gives you the impression to be looking at a Playstation 1 game of the late 90s. I haven't seen disjoint modells and grayish textures like this in a long time. This game isn't even worth the lending fee.
