This game is really fun to muck about with,and the music is great.But this game doesn't have much content
There are 3 different modes to play.There's Create mode,Challenge mode,and Match mode.
Create mode is the place you'll mostly use.It's just a mode where you can paint freely and create masterpieces in.You can add pictures from your XMB into the game,or just paint with no picture..You have all the basic tools.Pencil,Rubber,Straight lines etc,but you also get tools like blenders,light pens and stamps.You get a good variety of colours to choose from,and you get to pick which Sound FX you want your tools to make each time you use it.And you get to save still images as well as moving ones.Moving images can be saved to your XMB,or uploaded to Youtube straight from in-game.
Next,you'll have Challenge mode.This has 3 types of Mini-games you can play.For the first one,you must cover as much of the screen in paint as possible.This may sound easy,but trust me,it's harder than you think!This can make your arm tired,but it's still fun to play.The second one is where you must make as big a line ass you can without touching the ends of the screen,or the line itself.This is kinda fun,but can be annoying at times.
Match mode is where you paint a picture in tiime to the beat.It doesn't feel like your painting a masterpiece,but once you finish it,you'll be surprised at how good you drew.There are 12 stages,each where you draw a different picture such as a Dinosaur,or a Camera.Once you've completed them all,you unlock a mirror mode for each of them.
Overall,this game is good fun,but this game does lack in content.If your not sure whether to buy it or not,play the demo.It allows you to play Create mode!
