Bermuda Triangle is a shooter arcade game by SNK and featured on the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection for up to 2 players. This is a competent game where you control a command ship, ZIG, and can gather up to 3 SYD mini ships to protect yourself or aid in your firepower. It features the unique rotary joystick (where you can twist the body of the joystick to aim in different directions while still tilting the joystick in the direction you want to move, allowing you to move and shoot in different directions) SNK used for many of its arcade games of the time. What makes this game a little different from others is the size of your primary ship, which is pretty massive. So massive in fact that you likely won't be able to dodge all incoming projectiles or enemies. So, you need to smartly both maneuver your ship while tactically shifting the position of your supporting SYD fighters to soak up some of the dangers in your path. Overall, the game plays well, and looks great. While it doesn't stand out as one of the greatest shooters of all time, it is worth checking out. The real mystery is why it has been so forgotten!
