Beyond Good & Evil is a wonderful addition to the Playstation 2's action/adventure catalog

Every aspect of this game was enjoyable - from its lovable cast of characters to the well-told story. Also, unlike the typical action/adventure game, it does not include a multitude of collectibles. The only collectibles are photographs. Jade, the main character, uses a camera to capture rare events or specific occurrences. The camera is also used to transmit information between the main character and other characters for help.

The story moves along at a nice pace, so it never becomes dull or boring. There is just enough action throughout as well. You will be boating, flying, running, and sneaking (sometimes it is not smart to dive head-first into things in this game) from one objective to the next.

There is also a bit of well-placed humor, so many times you will be laughing while not running from robots. This is an excellent, well thought out game, and everybody should play this extremely underrated title. If trying to fill out your Playstation 2 library with good games, then this title is definitely for you.
