I must say that Michael Ancel did a great job in creating a very enjoyable and cinematic game.

I have to admit that I overlook this jewel of a game from when I first heard of it. However, it did not get the same commercial hype-building treatment, which was the case with "Halo 3." A friend told me that it was something I shouldn't miss out on . At first glance at the opening menu screen, I thought this was a kids game that I wouldn't much care for. Although it was relatively easy and short, I couldn't deny the joy it was to play through. Michael Ancel created such a wonderful world, filled with gorgeous settings and characters. The characters don't have as many polygonal detail. However, the developers put a lot of effort in creating very emotional characters. Animators did a wonderful job at conveying different emotions in each character. Despite some choppy gameplay on my PS2, I thought it was a rather 'fluid' adventure. The different sounds and music in the game were beautifully done. I can only describe it as 'audibly pleasing!' The sounds and music are quite unique, I believe thay may have reused some them in Assassin's Creed. Other gamers may have shared what they thought were low points in "Beyond Good & Evil," I can only say that everything good in this game far outweighs any of its faults.
