Incomparable Immersion and Storytelling

User Rating: 10 | Beyond: Two Souls PS3

First, these are most likely the best graphics to date to land on the PS3. Right from the menu screen, as you start, you see the quality just from the face of Jodie that takes up half of your HDTV. The moment you start this game it overtakes you and you realize you've never played anything like it. I can't remember the last time I played a game where I've actually felt like a real paranormal entity. Obviously as with most "adventure" games, you'll want to play with the PS3 or Turtle Beach headphones to get the most in immersion as the music adds to the plot big time. I haven't played a game in a while where my emotions have been stimulated like this before. Most games I feel have very lame story plot and cheesy acting. With Beyond Two Souls, they've really set the bar high in this aspect. Elllen Page and Willem Dafoe should win a Oscar for their performances.

You'll discover hidden Quick Time Event scenes to play through the better you do without mistakes.

When your playing as Aiden, you realize how original this gameplay is. Ever wanted to know what it feels like to be "Demonic Ghost"? Here's your chance. The Quick Time Events add to the depth of gameplay. There are also secrets to be discovered throughout the game that unlock bonus and more. If your looking for change and a break from the COD's & BF3's of the world, I can't recommend this game enough. The story is so compelling my wife is caught up in it and didn't want me to stop playing as she watched. She's actually going to try to play it herself though she's not a gamer at all.

Don't read to much into reviews and go and get this game now.
