Your parents will love it! It's educational....kinda....

It's time for the Big Brain Academy Review! For the DS.

Well, I heard of this game, and it looked cool, so I picked it up for $20. Can't go wrong right?

Right! This game was great. Let's see why. The game is about increasing your "brain power." It's not really educational, mostly because your not really learning anything.

There are five categories, Think, Analyze, Compute, Identify, and Memorize. I will go over everyone of them.

Think, as the name implies, requires you to think about your actions before picking. Such are picking a path or which is heavier.

Analyze requires you to analyze. DUH! It requires you to draw a reflected image, etc. It's not hard at all.

Compute. Now, I'm not a math whiz. These involve counting questions, like which amount of coins are more. Since, as I said before, am not a math whiz, I wasn't really good at these games.

Identify. These are about identification. Duh.

And now, memorize. These were my favorites. You have to memorize something, and then use what you remembered to answer a question. Simple!

Now, this is a game where the graphics aren't the best. But that's fine, because this isn't a game where awesome graphics are required. So for that, I will say the graphics looked fine.

You will use the touchscreen/stylus for the duration of the game. Tap your answers and to select menu options.

There is a multiplayer mode, where you can play with your friends to see who can get the most points. I barely played this mode, so....yeah.

Big Brain Academy is a very fun game. All the games and extras are good. The only downsides were that there wasn't much variety, and there wasn't an online mode. I thought it would be cool to have an online ranking system, and without an online mode, there won't be much to get me to come back to it.

Even so, this game gets a 7.5 out of 10 with the title of Good.
