Ok we get started with Billy Hatcher.....the music on the title screen and level select is really catchy sometimes i sit for several minutes between levels so I can hear my favourite part ...la la la la etc... There is some great satisfaction to be had rolling a giant egg around squashing a variety of cats, birds and some bizzare insects, and hatching out various monsters and powerups which in turn are logged onto a table gives a great pokemon-esq gotta hatch em all kind of element . The early levels are quite easy....fair enough i wasn't rolling straight into A rank scores and never accidentaly rolling my egg or the edge of a cliff but it was a learning expierience and it was quite a gentle affair all in all The main thing i noticed about this game is there is no such thing as MEDIUM...eggs are ready to hatch either after 2 seconds or 3 hours of collecting fruit you either make jumps with ease or fall like an idiot to your doom and level difficulty is hadr to illustrate without a graph but imagine this is what billy hatcher himself would say as he went through the adventure. "La la la love that music...hey a chicken suit ...what the...hey im getting the hang of this...yeah take that woo hoo....hey im kind of good at this...ill sing as i go....la la la la....ARRRGH what this suddenly so tough jumps im doomed to fall of steep inclines...WHY...WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME!!!" anyway abstract examples aside if you survive the sudden spike in difficulty it an enjoyable title...kool music...sonic and pals make a cameo...and its a pretty fun and kid friendly platformer...multiplayer modes and unlockables give it a decent life span. worth a crack (another semi egg related joke there not as good as the gotta hatch em all bit earlier though.)
