For people saying the story isn't as good as the first one I don't agree. It might not have that unfamiliarity feeling to it like the first one but that definitely doesn't mean that the story is bad. The story is as good (if not better than) as the first one. Everyone who enjoyed the first one NEEDS to play this game. It is no worse than the first, so far I actually think it's better but in it's own way. It still has that atmospheric feeling to it but obviously the look of rapture has changed a lot since it's set 10 years after the first one.
The multiplayer is nothing special but it doesn't hurt to have something to do once you're done with the SP.
Conclusion: In the end, the gems are definitely in the SP campaign. If you loved the first one like I did you will definitely have a blast with the sequel.
