This game is a mediocre shooter and even worse of an RPG. However the uniqueness and graphics do some good.
In this game, there are many problems, but one of the worst is the fact that the creators expected you to spend hours looking for ammo, fuel, cash, etc...
On top of this, every time you harvest some ADAM with a little sister, you have to clear off waves and waves of splicers. Like everything else in this game, it feels like you've done this too many times and plagues this game with repetition and boredom. If you like grinding and doing the same things too many times, then I'm sure you'll love Bioshock 2.
Every single attack you do (except bashing with the shift key) requires some sort of material that runs out after one minute. I don't mind a game forcing us to change our weapons, but in this game, expect to be having to crawl around the corners to pick up each little item. I find this takes away from a game where we'd just like to enjoy ourselves.
However, the graphics are very nice and you actually feel as if you are part of the underwater world. Also, the story is interesting and has a unique way of unfolding itself (through voice clips of people who help you along the way). But don't expect a masterpiece RPG. I truly believe this game can hardly be called this, as there are few choices and even fewer that matter.
Perhaps that after DragonAge and Mass Effect 2, I am expecting too much from this game.
If you like a horror-action game, then this is it. All of those who would like intense shooters and an incredible RPG experiences, don't bother.
