Bioshock 2 is a great game. In Bioshock 2, you play as a "Big Daddy" who is on a mission to release Eleanor who is a girl who refers to you, the "Big Daddy", as "Father". You go through Rapture just like in the first Bioshock. You will go through many enemies such as "Splicers", "Brutes", "Big Sisters" and others. During your journey, you will encounter "Little Sisters" who you can Harvest and gather ADAM from which will help you get gene upgrades, or you can Adopt them and use them to direct you towards ADAM holding corpses. If you choose to Harvest the "Little Sisters" then you can then take them to a Vent which you can then choose to Harvest them or Rescue them and release them into the Vents. The end of Bioshock 2 is an unpredictable, emotional, ending leaving you to want some more. The game play of Bioshock 2 is very fun. You have a fairly large selection of guns and launchers and you can upgrade your weapons along with your gene upgrades. You also have plasmids which can help to effect your enemy. In the process of going through Rapture, you can search the corpses of your dead enemies and allies for money, First-Aid kits, weapon ammo, and hypos. You can also search crates, desks, and cash registers. With the money you get from searching these places, you can buy ammo, First-Aid kits, and food for little health boosters from machines. You can also hack machines, turrets, and security cameras to get what you want, and turn the security cameras and turrets on your side. Bioshock 2 should take 8-10 hours to complete the story mode. The graphics of Bioshock 2 are above average and the cut scenes look amazing. As for the multiplayer you can play online in a variety of game modes. You can choose a character and semi customize it. You can also make loadouts to use in online combat. Online game modes include, Survival of the Fittest, Capture the Sister, and more. Overall the multiplayer is decent and fun to play and the story mode is amazing and great. Bioshock 2 is the game of the year so far in 2010.
