Bioshock 2 is an exceptional sequel with great replay value due to the variety of ways you can dispatch the splicers.

I personally loved the story and gameplay of Bioshock; it was a great video gaming experience. I can say the exact same for the sequel. Bioshock 2 is very fun and very addictive. There are so many ways to get through each level: brute force and splicer to drill punishment; long range fighting using powerful plasmid abilities like decoy and security command; sauntering behind ever stronger security bots whom you name a repair; faithfully researching the splicers for significant combat bonuses; using the environment to maximum effect with telekinesis and a myriad of traps, as well as a few other approaches I haven't even thought of. The story is a continuation of the Rapture universe and is just as interesting if not more so. I would actually love to see the story of Rapture turned into a big budget Hollywood production under the guidance of James Cameron of the Abyss, Aliens, and Titanic; he has proven he can do good suspenseful water and alien/monster movies. If you like the first Bioshock you'll like the second and this time there is a great multiplayer game attached; it is fun and offers more and more the longer you play it.
