Improves most parts, but is a little too short and Lamb isn´t as awesome as Andrew Ryan or Sander Cohen.
Gameplay: Youré a Big Daddy... Awesome! You get to shoot lightning and fire and ice! (like in the first game), plus you get awesome guns and weapons, and it works really well. The drill is awesome! Now you can also adopt the little sister and protect them while gathering ADAM. There´s also some new Big Daddy´s (and Big Sisters!). Best FPS combat in any game ivé played so far, really. They also improved the audio diaries. When you listen to one the background sound becomes lower. You can use subtitles if you want.10/10
Graphics: What can i say? Have i ever seen such graphics before? Everything is incerdibly detailed and the water effects are simply amazing. 10/10
Story: You are Delta, an old Big Daddy with free will that has to get to it´s Little Sister, Elenor. To bad she is the son of Lamb, who is a real *****. The story is really good but not really as good. It just doesn´t have the great "moments" the first game has like when you meet Fitz Patrick, Sandert Cohen Fontaine, Andrew Ryan, you know. You actually don´t meet Lamb, just see her. The story is more mario style here. Girl kidnapped, rescue her. It works, and the ending is just as beautiful as in the first game. 8/10
Sound: How dare you speak ill of the sound? This is where some people just seem to be stupid. The sound doesn´t lag at all, and there´s not supposed to be catchy songs! The game has pretty low violin music that fits perfectly and really sets the mood. When a Big Sister comes close the music becomes intense and powerful. At some parts there really isn´t any music, to make it silent... and creepy... 10/10
In the end: Only 9? How can such a perfect game not live up to it´s predecessor? Well, The first game at least had an end boss. And meeting Andrew Ryan in the first game was clearly the absolute best moment, and it´s a little to short. It´s winter so i played it pretty much (on easy) and it took me 3 days. So basically, it´s a giant ride of awesome that doesn´t last to long. BUT. There is downloadable content like Minerva´s Den that adds to the game and it´s cheap. Good. Bioshock 2 is heavily recomended. Bye bye.
