I am rather speechless still about this experience

I am I am waiting for the original Bioshock to install from on my PS3, I decided now would be a better time than ever to do a full after thought, or as some would call it, a review of Bioshock Infinite.

First off, this game is awesome, if you are reading this, still debating on whether or not you want to get the game and ofcourse you have the money to get the game, simply put. Just get it, I can almost asure you the game will be enjoyed. I actually for myself, never bought the game, I ended up trading a fair number of games for it, and I am not one bit in regret for trading in the games, besides my copy of Metal Gear Rising, and Portal 2. Those two games I really enjoyed, but Bioshock Infinite is in the game catigory as Journey and Shadow of the Colossus. Which I believe if there is any perfectly made games, it would be those two games. Bioshock Infinite is such a wonderfully crafted game. It not only as world and atmosphere, but it has narrative, artistic direction and multiple ways to interprete the game.

The game has a very unique art direction, ranging from a bright colours, lighting that is so unique to the Bioshock Infinite world, characters that look, act and feel like living people. In the game, they go about life doing there own things. Some are buying things, some are flirting with girls, some are sun tanning on the beach, others my be polishing a customers shoes. Regardless of how you may look it, the world in Bioshock Infinite is a very living world, very nicely scripted. You may find yourself in mid-conversation with people talking as you walk by. This has been used in other games before, some of them executed very well. My best example to on is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but yet Bioshock Infinite does feel very much different in comparison.

The gameplay is manly all opinion based. It was an arrange of gunplay, magic (known as vigors) all done in first person view. Truth be told, I do not like first person shooters at all. And to, that is my biggest flaw with Bioshock Infinite is that it is a first person shooter. In my opinion, I would have loved to play a first person stealth game, like Dishonoured (I'm Canadian so thats why I have the 'u') of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or a first person RPG, like fallout or elder scrolls, but Bioshock Infinite is at very much of it's roots, a first person shooter. However even with that being said about my opinion, Bioshock Infinite does first-person shooting incredibly well and does it less the mission based Metal of Honour, or Call of Duty and does more the Half-Life style. Regardless of how you put it, after getting into the game, it is not even problem.

Where Bioshock Excels is in characters. Booker Dewitt is by far my favourite gaming character, hands down. And honestly put, Elizabeth is probably the best female video game probably fleshed out. And to be honest, that is huge for the video game industry. To have a truly good female gaming character in a mainstream game. With that being said, the less I say about it, the more the player will enjoy the characters.

Overall, I can't stress this enough how incredible Bioshock Infinite is. I felt the same way playing through the original Bioshock, but the world of Infinite I felt was so much more atmospheric. Which one was better.... well they both have something new to offer. I liked Infinite more, but you may find that the original you like more.

98/100- This game I rated pretty much the same as the original. Bioshock Infinite will be one of those games that will be remembered for time to come. And whether you get this game soon or when it is cheap binned. It is totally worth every penny.
