If you haven't played BioShock yet, you need to...
The gameplay of the game is amazing. You go through the game gaining several different weapons such as, shotguns, machine guns, etc. There are many upgrade stations throughout the game to make the guns more powerful and many vending machines around that sell you ammunition, health, and more. You also have something called plasmids. Plasmids are a type of magical power that can be used along with your guns to do different things to the environment around you. There are plasmids that range from shocking an enemy, to melting ice that is obstructing a doorway. The gameplay never gets old or repetitive.
BioShock's difficulty level is definitely just right for any player. Along with being able to change the difficulty level in the game, you can also switch the vita-chambers (chambers that, when passed up, cause you to transport back to them when dead) on and off. The game is definitely made to accommodate gamers of all skill levels.
The graphics in the game are by far some of the best I've seen yet. The environment is beautifully crafted which definitely makes exploring around the city worth it. The visuals are amazing whenever you look out at the sea ground and see a big daddy (one of the game's toughest enemies) roaming around on the sea floor. You can tell that they put a lot of work into the visuals and graphics of this game.
Altogether, BioShock is an incredible game that will always be top on my list. The game is worth playing a second time just to finish the extra achievements. The graphics are amazing and it is a perfect game regarding difficulty. Hopefully, BioShock 2 will be even more legendary than it's predecessor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game.
