Scarier than most "horror" movies I've seen in the past 15 years!!
The actual gameplay is functional and very interactive. I thought that the CG was very well executed. It has a sort of eerie quality to it that adds to the overall emotion of the gameplay. Pretty much everything you see can be used as some sort of weapon (as long as you have the right plasmids armed).
The story was obviously written by someone with an extrremely liberal mind-set, which I didn't mind. I actually found some of it to be quite interesting at some points. My only complaint would have to be the boss in the end. The game loaded me with so much ammunition and health before the final fight that I beat it on my first try. This didn't really take to much away from the game though, the rest of it was soo cool that it didn't really matter how it ended.
Overall I was very impressed. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of horror flicks. Who knows, maybe video games are the solution for the failing horror genre, and maybe they'll make up for all of those weak horror films they've been feeding us?
