There is no single word that can describe the greatness that is Bioshock. Not since the original MGS for PSOne have I felt that giddy childlike feeling of gameplay! Since getting my hands on the demo before it's release I must have played it a dozen times. Each time noticing something I had missed before. This truly is a game that you will stop at points in the game just to look around and listen. The audio of this game is top notch. Stop moving and hear the creeks, and splashes of water. Reminding you ever so slightly that you are in a very fragile city ever so deep on the ocean floor. The graphics are barnone as well. The first bit you actually control your character you are in the water surrounded by fire as your plane has just crashed. I honestly spent around 5 min just swimming around looking at the graphical eye candy. And it is like this through the entire game. Gameplay is also one of the biggest strong points. Honestly giving the player the choice. A lot of games stout "nobody will ever play the same game twice". Which is true to a certain degree. Usually deleivering suble differences next time through. Not with Bioshock! This is honestly one of those games that has raised the bar. Bioshock has now set the standard for "next gen". If you own a 360 and haven't played or considered playing/buying this game you need to correct that and fast. I have never enjoyed a game as much as I have enjoyed this one. And I have yet to finish! So go out to your local game store, buy/rent it, call in sick, and clear your schedule and prepare yourself for a truly one of a kind gaming experience. Enjoy!
