With all the Hype building up to a game as ambitious and anticipated as Bioshock, one must wonder if it really is as good as it's cracked up to be. Bioshock is. Absolutely. Not only does Bioshock deliver on the Emotional Atmosphere that has been its centerpiece from day 1, the game is just incredible. The graphics, although not ground-breaking like Gears of War, are beautiful and help immensely to bring the player into this sad, devastated world at the bottom of the ocean. The gameplay leaves so much room for creativity and experimentation that every encounter is its own little experience. From the dread one feels when a plan goes wrong and the pulse-pounding moment of improvisation to the utter satisfaction of a plan gone completely right, Bioshock delivers, giving you an Experience far more rewarding than the average shoot 'em up. And the story, with all the details, both little and big, brings you into the world even more, making you WANT to see the story through and discover the secrets hidden in the dark corners of the game. That, accompanied by a series of twists and surprises and some of the best voice acting on Xbox 360, makes it one of those rare games that truly excels in the storyline department. To sum up every aspect of the experience that makes it so great would be a titanic task, and it would be best for you to just go out and play the game right now, experience it for yourself. Bioshock is not to be missed. Get it.You won't be disappointed.
