Bioshock takes place in a beutiful underwater utopia called Rapture made by a man names Andrew Ryan, to get away from the laws and govermants hoping to fufil freedom for all the greatest people in the world and so stuffs them all in this amazing place. He promised them that they will be free there. Then your plane crashes in the middle of the Atlantic and you a black gloomy light house like tower that has a bathysphere that desends you into this creepy place. After about 2 minutes of being there you know that it is not everything Andrew Ryan promises, you find mutated people killing eachother, blood all over the walls and destroyed vending machines. Eventully you get aquainted (through radio) with a man named Atlas helping you. Eventully he tells you that he has a wife and child stuck down there and you are the only hope he'll ever see them again. And of course he gives you an explanation of what the hell is going on down there. Well they found a substance called Adam that the people could use to inject "Plasmids into them selfs that let them do things like, have fire at there fingertips, or bring up broken circuits with a fist full of lightning, but then it caused them to mutate and go crazy and it was addicting so it became there currency. Then there are the Little Sisters that gather Adam from the dead bodys and are protected by INCREDIBLY powerefully monsters in diving suits called the Big Daddys, Atlas tells you that you need to kill the Big Daddys to "harvest" the Adam from the Little Sister, but the person who made in the first place is Dr. Tenambaum and tells you to save but you won't get as much Adam them so you have to decide what to do. Now the gameplay is great, it offers so much exploration and there are so many things to do. You use Plasmids and they do things like shock people, to turning a Big Daddy on your side. But you need Adam to do that and you also need it to get "tonics". Tonics are almost like skills but you can only have so much at a time because you have slots for it. And the weopon design is great, especialy how it works. You get around 10 weapons that are all upgradable exept for the wrench. You upgrade weapons by going to stations and getting which one you want for whatever weapon but you can only get one, and then the station is closed for good and there are just enuff for you to fully upgrade each and every weapon. And you can even get diffrent ammo types and even invent them with supplies you find around Rapture, and diffrent ammo types work on diffrent kinds of enemies. Now although I gave the game 10 that does not mean it is perfect, so game will ever be perfect and so Bioshock does still have its flaws but are no where near game breaking. So with that said, if you are a fan of FPS's or shooters then what are you waiting for, go out and buy Bioshock
