When i started playing bioshock the graphics blew me away. I know everyone goes on about how good the water looks but it does really look that good that i thought it was a cutscene when i was floating in the water at the beginning. When your welcomed to world of rapture u get a sense of a once successful society gone wrong. Bioshock creates an atmosphere thats so rare in games and feels a lot more like a sci-fi movie. The sound in bioshock is brilliant and really helps the game feel alive and in my opinion is the best in any game to date. However its not all good, the A.I is not the most advanced and sometimes just plain stupid. Also none of the guns feel powerful and just dont feel right (if that makes sense). The game doesnt feel how a shooter should you dont get any long distance fire fights its normally right in your face, the plasmids are fun to use though and much more interesting than the lacklusture gun lineup. Overall the game took me about 14-15 hours to complete which is about average for a shooter however theres no multiplayer and not much replay value so its quite short and not great value for money however while it has many flaws its still a good game and deserves a place in every fps fans collection
