This is a game that make the whole industry look good. It is a work of art, not just an immature way to pass some time. After my plane crashed I was waiting for a few seconds thinking that what I was looking at was CG footage. Then I tapped my controller and thought, oh my God, this is the game. This is the first time I think I saw a game running in 1080p, and it shows. Not only is the resolution crisp but the contrast levels that the 360 puts out is incredibly vivid. It puts a certain other company to shame. I played the download and I thought they changed some things for the retail version. Then I checked again and realized it was just that I was playing it differently. I have to think back to the original Deus Ex to remember a FPS type game had this much freedom. I know I'm going to play through it more than once, and taking my time will get me 40 hours out of this game. That makes up for no online play. They nearly perfected the single player story mode, maybe they can work on some online for Bioshock 2, which I would bet is already in the works. Do yourself a favor and buy this game.
