Games like this only come around about once a year. It is very obvious how much care and work went into this game. Almost every facet of the game is done with complete regard to every detail possible.

Bioshock realistically pulls off a complete underwater city called Rapture; a place where various people could get away from the rules and regulations of normal life.

The storyline is excellent and I think that Gears of War has competition in the graphics department even though it is hard to give either an edge because they have different graphical styles. Sounds are immersive and fit the game perfectly. Chatter from the splicers (the local residents of rapture) can be repetitive but it is not annoying at all.
