A fantastic game like no other; but the lack of content stunts its triumph.

I finished this game a few minutes ago, and I practically kept on playing until the end, besides sleep. I also felt like I've just been released from a spell.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the visuals and sound- top notch. An immersive story and a good ending (at least for the good side). I mean, this game was fantastic and all, but there are better FPS. The combat is good, but does not make it great, and you will find some disapointments. The visuals and story really made this what it is, but the game still overwhelms me when I think about it. All the plasmids, the tonics, the weapons, the items, the many individual voiced diaries, and the brilliant cut scenes. Everything in the environment does something... in one sense you could say this has so much content, and it does in the layers of the single-player, which is the only game type avalible; but once that is gone... you see how bare this is...."that's it", you think; and I'm sure many a buyer have been dissapointed by this. Nonetheless, this game is truely a piece of art... the cut scenes were more powerful than some movies, and putting you as the commander of that drama is an unforgettable experience.
But I can say that I'm glad I rented it, as I don't plan on playing it again.
