F*ck Half-Life! This is gaming at its best.
Bioshock is one of those games like Dues Ex, Half-Life, Halo or Super Mario, one of those games that stands there feeling very proud of itself for getting close to gaming perfection.

Still want a review? fine. This is as much a masterpiece as any mozart song, or any van goph painting. The dark atmosphere and fantastic storyline keep you engrossed while the gameplay and combat is the most fun you'll have this year with your 360. The weapons feel right and the controls feel natural. But it's things like the retro black humour of the advertisements of sick and strange uses of plasmids to give the feel of being in a ruined civilisation that make this game really stand out. The graphics are FANTASTIC! It has a graphic novel style which makes it look fantastic, but (i'm not saying this is a bad thing) makes it look less realistic. Hell, it looks great but if real life looked like this it would be freaky - know what I mean?
You need to play this game. Buy it, rent it, steal it, download it, play it at a friend's house but just experiance it.
