1960: The Kennedy Era is just beginning, the Cold War is reaching it's height, and deep beneath the waters of the Atlantic, an underwater Utopia has decended into madness.

This is the world of BioShock, one of the most revolutionary games ever created, and one of the best Action-Adventure games on the Xbox 360. BioShcok has revolutionized video games, with a powerful storyline that the player forges based on their actions, and an extremely detailed interactive environment, that allows the player to use anything as a weapon, from a simple nail to spilled water.

BioShock is set in 1960 in the underwater city of Rapture. For nearly 20 years Rapture had been a technological marvel, and the closest thing to Utopia the world has ever known. But a power struggle between the man who founded Rapture, Andrew Ryan, and a local crime boss has pushed the city into full scale civil war, and because of their reliance on the drugs known as ADAM and EVE, nearly every citizen in Rapture has been driven completly insane. It is into this hell on earth that the player enters, and eventually finds himself caught up in the war, fighting to survive and eventually to escape from Rapture.

Dispite it's revolutionary graphics, morality based plot, and addicting gameplay, BioShock is not with out it's flaws, the biggest of which is it's controls. The controls are extremely difficult to master, and in the thick of game play, the player is likely to mixup the various controls. Another flaw the game has is it's plot, which could easily have comefrom any old horror movie.

Dispite these flaws, BioShock provides an very entertaining expearence, offering one the chance to play the game the way they see fit.
