This mind-blowing FPS has unique gameplay to make your heart race. It definitely ranks up there with the honorable likes of Halo and WoW. With two ways to handle Little Sisters (three if you try going half-n-half), Bioshock has great, practically unavoidable replay value. At some of the surprise encounters, you may even shriek like a little girl! I highly recommend the strategy guide, if for no other reason than the detailed, multi-floored maps of Rapture. I also recommend playing through the first time on an easier level. Once you get the hang of it and familiarize yourself with Rapture, replay Bioshock on a more difficult level (experienced FPS'ers should tackle the hardest mode). Be sure you play through at least twice, choosing a different path each time to benefit from the various dialogues, plasmids, Adam availability, endings, etc. Although this is a one-player game, you won't get lonely, for there is a psychopathic splicer, territorial Big Daddy or deranged boss around practically every corner.
