Astonishing!!!!!!!!!

You know, when I first heard of this game, I was too busy thinking of Halo 3 (which is a fantastic game). But now that I'm done with all the game's from last year that kept me busy from playing this game like Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed, and The Orange Box, I was finally able to sit down and play this. I didn't think this was going to be any good. From what I had seen on G4tv was kinda stupid. Man I learned not judge a game by it's cover. When it started, it seemed it would be like another Silent Hill, Resident Evil, F.E.A.R. rip-off. You start out in an airplane crash and wined up swimming to a nearby lighthouse. Eventually you take an elevator going down. Don't ask me why he took it, he just did okay! Anyway, going down the elevator you find yourself in this underwater utopia called Rapture.
It was made by a man who is of course the villian. But there is a great twist to it. There are these things known as plasmids, which give you these powers like shooting eletric volts at something, or fire, or bees, etc. Astonishing graphics and audio. Amazing voice overs. Great weapons. And no multi-player. Yeah! That's right. I'm glad there isn't any multi-player. That probably would have been a major flaw in the game. Why? Because, if the developers had had to focus on the Campaign and multi-player, it would have less good of graphics, probably harder achievements. Bioshock is just one of those games that just doesn't need multi-player. Over all it's almost flawless. Almost though. I did experience some minor glitches. But it was nothing that ruined my gaming experience.
Another thing is, if don't have a lot of time on your hands and just want something to pick up and play go ahead because I beat with in 16 hours. The only reason played even longer was to get the rest of the achievements.
Over all, you need to get this game.
