I'm going to keep this plain and simple...I loved this game. From start to finish, this is one that will keep you going. Never once did I think to myself "I wish I could just finish this and get it over with". Of course I wanted to keep progressing, but only because I wanted to see what happened next. The story was extremely clever and nothing ever seemed out of place. The graphics...holy ****! This is THE most beautiful game I have ever played. The sounds throughout the world of Rapture are right on par with the graphics as well. From the public service announcements to the ominous moan and footsteps of the Big Daddies, everything fit perfectly. 2K put together a fantastic world that feels like it lives and breathes on it's own.

Of course I can't close out my review without mentioning how great the gameplay is. The controls are spot on and I couldn't have asked for a better set-up. There were only a couple of downsides I could find. The reloading speed (for weapons or plasmids) might be a little too realistic for some people (i.e. 'slow'), and there was no blocking/counter-attack with the wrench. The ending was a bit too short, but it closed out the story perfectly, and some people might not waqnt to scour the entire city listening to every recording just to completely understand the plot and history of Rapture.

Ok, now quit reading reviews and just go out and play this game!
