Impressive game, but lacking some things.
To start off on a good not, it's one of the most original, creative games i've ever played. The story will immerse you in the game like no other, throwing you into action right from the get go. The character's and behaviors are amazing. I love the weapon selection and ammo. I would go almost as far as to say this game could approach being a "Role-Playing Shooter." The case does not lie when it says, "No two players will play BioShock the same way." With a HUGE variety of ammo types and powers, you will find certain ones to suit your likings or foes.
The only problem i found with this game, is finding some of the objectives dull and meaningless. It gets quite repetitive and might drive you to taking a break from the game. But, the story will compel you to complete this game, wanting to know what happens next.
The atmosphere of this game is very eerie and dark. It is just enough so, that you will be on the edge of your seat the whole game.
